The biggest bright spot last night was Sweat's play.    6 tackles, 2 more loss and constantly disrupting the Miami blocking schemes. He did this without Simmons as well. He played 78% of the

Titans HAD to upgrade their Dline. Newton, Fiske, and Jenkins were all guys who played the same role as Simmons. I like those guys but I've told people all offseason that the Titans weren't going to d

As long as they can keep Sweat away from Davenport he's got a chance!

Haynesworth wasn't that big, not like 360.  I agree with the second part.

Actually Googled it. Haynesworth was 6'6 350. Sweat is currently 6'5 360 iirc

No where near as quick and different responsibilities though.

The RT spot sucks.  They need a vet there.

They've got tons that can compete for the spot now. Kinda wanted someone but w/ no 3rd it was hard.

I'm not sure if they'll add someone or not. Guess this is a trust BillC scenario.

Haynesworth may have been 350 in the middle of his career but he was 317 when he was drafted.  He had a low bench press number for a DT. Ran an unofficial 4.77 40 (4.82 official). Haynesworth added strength to his arsenal as a pro.

Sweat is bigger and stronger at draft time than AH was but much less quick and fast. They are not comparable prospects.

They play much different roles as well.
