We were riding a high of having a 1st round bye. They assumed the Bengals game was a fluke, and the reason we had 3 ints was lack of a good receiver (which is true), but Brown wanted Julio, and JRobbed fell into the trap of thinking this was all we needed to win it all.

Lol what? No, the reason we had 3 interceptions was because of Tannehill. Everyone besides you I guess we're pretty uniform in that.

Vrabel gaining more personnel control is not a good thing - regardless of who the new GM is - I promise you that.

Vrabel's comment "who is he going to throw it to?" about the receivers/Malik is a little more cryptic now.    I loved Jrob, but I love AAS more. She ain't fucking around. Ya love to see it.

I gotta say, watching an entire board agree that the line is so bad and has been mis-managed for so long that it warranted the GM being fired, them turn around and say that the RB is "washed up" is unreal. You people never learn from your mistakes do you? 3 weeks ago, y'all were eating crow on Henry, now he sucks again. You guys really are reactionary aren't you?

It's really just one person and he's been on this derailed train for while. I suppose at some point even if its a couple of years from now he'll be right.

Still really is mind boggling hot on the heels of the Wilson disaster that JRob was so reckless taking a guy anyone with half a brain knew was an injury ticking time bomb just waiting to go off.

Everyone here has bad takes from time to time (hell my blow it all up post at 2-4 in 2019 is an all time clanger) but I never got why so many here were clamouring for this bum ahead of the 2021 draft.

I can explain this one.  It's the height/weight/speed stuff plus the fact that the one year he was healthy he had 5 INT (or whatever) and looked the part of a shutdown corner.

Guess the follow up question to that would be, why would you sign a guy to a 5 year extension 10 months ago if you were anywhere near a breaking point with the person?  Rich people problems I guess...

Why do people get divorced?  Usually lack of trust or faith in the other person.  Things add up over time

He can still contribute but wasn't worth 12M, much less 14M, this year.   He's far from the only problem in the running game.

Now the question is whether the team should pay him 10.5M for 2023?  That's all that matters.

This will sound like a cop out but my view on this is that we didn't create the conditions for him to be worth that. He can easily be worth that money IMO but he needs holes, just like every other RB.

But they didn’t add up enough to not give the guy a 5 year extension….

This is why you don't pay a 2 down RB. These conditions that need to be created can lead to a successful running game with an average RB, like Foreman for example!

I don't agree with a single word you said here. We definitely can't run and when we can't we suck. What I disagree with is the idea that all of a sudden Henry is washed. That's ridiculous.

I don’t think Henry can get outside , but rather is a between the tackles back now.. I don’t think he fits the Shannahan system any more

I cried a little when we took Burks over Christian Watson, then I felt like a after the first few games, then he blew up and I felt like a genius, now I just want to cry again 🤣.

We could have had Watson, another lineman, and Brown??!  Amy made the right call.
