You think he believes he has the personnel to pass more instead?!

C’mon man!

No that's what I meant lol ... I don't think he believes this team can pass the ball. So he straps himself to Derrick Henry.

Vrabel gaining more personnel control is not a good thing - regardless of who the new GM is - I promise you that.

Vrabel's comment "who is he going to throw it to?" about the receivers/Malik is a little more cryptic now.    I loved Jrob, but I love AAS more. She ain't fucking around. Ya love to see it.

Have seen a few of the NFL "insiders" suggest this firing of JRob sent shock waves throughout the NFL and is putting pressure on other owners to move on their GM's who have far worse records than JRob (Keim/Ballard/Telesco have been mentioned).

Also have seen some mention AAS may have trouble attracting some outside GM candidates because of the incredibly high benchmark she has set (potential 7 consecutive winning seasons, 3 straight division titles, 1 AFCCG appearance, one #1 seed, playoffs in 5 of 7 season was simply not good enough)

The timing reeks of pettiness.  I guess when you have an NFL franchise handed to you, you don't really worry about the meaning and repercussions of such decisions.

I think being a message baord the view can get a bit myopic. On the outside in it looks hilariously disastrous.

Remember when we wondered what GM would want to come work here forced to keep Mularkey as a prerequisite? This is a much more constricted environment now with higher pressure to perform. The only benefit I see is the replacement is walking into a much better roster.

Fans, I get the nearsightedness. But she's the owner. I hope it works out but overall I'm pretty shocked that almost the entire message board agrees with the move.

Interesting story from Brett Yarris (who does work with college players preparing them for the draft) here about Vrabel reportedly telling another OT Yarris was working with that the Titans would select him if he was still available in the 2020 draft but JRob and the scouting staff overruled Vrabel and went for the SEC pedigree in Isaiah Wilson.

@TitansGuru

We really need a few more emoji reactions. Like maybe one with hands thrown up in disgust or  mad-as-fuck anger emoji... lol
