JRob Fired. Wyatt Confirmed.

This is an aggregate of something is clearly been building. The Titans are no closer to winning the Super Bowl now than they were in 2017 and it’s mainly due to personal issues.

I also mentioned that Robinson made a huge issue about doing from good to great and how playoff wins weren’t good enough it was about championships. very telling that the wording of Amy’s press release kind of throws that in his face.

As I’ve mentioned many times in the AJ Brown stuff, the Titans had no leverage for using the salary cap franchise tag in 2023 and brown is agents knew this hence, they took a hardliner negotiations and Quiver Chins made the deal he did.  The very thing was highlighted by Miss management of the salary, cap and roster, his two responsibilities.

We don’t know the inner workings of things there so it’s speculation, but they’re very well could’ve been personnel, blaming coaching and coaching blaming personnel thing going on, just like there was at the end of malarkey. Amy sided with Robinson at the time but part of that was based upon Robinson convincing her that Mariota was a victim of poor coaching something that absolutely was not the case and the new coaching staff did worse within the malarkey did when you start adding up the bus like Isaiah Wilson, and Farley, and even to a lesser extent Evans … All of a sudden confidence in the decision making is eroded. Kudos to Amy for pulling the plug when she did.

Vrabel gaining more personnel control is not a good thing - regardless of who the new GM is - I promise you that.

Vrabel's comment "who is he going to throw it to?" about the receivers/Malik is a little more cryptic now.    I loved Jrob, but I love AAS more. She ain't fucking around. Ya love to see it.

One thing that will come from this firing is this offseason we will find out who were JRob guys and who were Vrabel guys.

NFLN Tom Pelissero who seems to be right at the forefront of the reporting of the firing of Jon Robinson put the future of Ryan Tannehill firmly in the uncertain basket.

LOL....and who would replace him. Who wants to get killed behind this O line? Who wants to throw to these receivers?  You think Vrabel can't see on tape the piss poor blocking and route running? He even mentioned it.  Tanne is the least of the problems on this team. Other than being shell shocked from being hit so much.

Pelissero isn't talking about this season he is talking about next year and beyond, traditionally a new GM wants to bring in "his" guy.

Its going to be interesting for sure. Would they flip Tannehill to a QB needy team to help accelerate retooling the roster and look for a Hurts style QB or will they keep Tannehill and rebuild around him?

... whats he chromosomes have to do with anything?

you dont want a GM making those decisions but you DO keep them in the loop and even if she was in the loop - when you fuckup it's your ass... he fucked up.

Nothing. I’d say random man if she was a man. She isn’t qualified to make those decisions

Again, if he doesn’t keep her in the loop then it’s on him, not the case with Brown anyway

Take your meds. firing the GM who is responsible for building the roster is not conceding the season at all. You are acting like they fired Vrabel and IR'd Tannehill and Henry... The team will still likely win 10 games and is a lock for the playoffs.

You should make that screw face your avatar.

Everything is probably on the table now will heavily depend on who the new GM ends up being.

I would really have to go back and look, but I have taken a beating this year on not caring if we kept him. Ask Mythos.  As I have pointed out, just like @OILERMAN, we gained just as many yards without him as we did with him. He was and is replaceable.

It's malpractice for a GM to pay a RB 14M and then put an OL in front of him where he can't perform to that level.

Whether the problem is Henry, the OL or both, the GM is responsible for both.

And here we are. The road is laid out for a second organization to completely clean house from top to bottom after promoting Downing to OC.

Still ain’t better than a healthy Tre’davious White who was easily the better corner in college and in the pros that JRob passed over so I don’t see where you’re going with this.

Adoree Jackson is one of probably the top 15 best CBs in the NFL, not really a stick to beat J Rob with that one taken after him was better
