I feel as though I've heard him praise Tannehill plenty and never really seen him go after anyone. He's always struck me more as a guy that will always try to see it from the player's point of view first and foremost. I did lose some respect for him as a football mind when he came out of the closet as a run sets up the pass truther but other than that I haven't seen anything egregious. TD tried to take AJ's side and ended up looking like a fucking idiot when the whole story came out. This all happened because AJ conducts his business like a child. The Titans wanted him back and were actively working towards making that happen. He got the heart eyes for Jalen Hurts and actively stopped communicating and then DEMANDED a trade. Stop absolving AJ of any responsibility. He has more to do with why he's not here than anyone else. Part of being a reporter is knowing you're at some point going to get burned by your sources. Outside of Davenport, we really don't have a reporter close to the team. His heart was not into this program and when that happens it is best you leave. I will say this......I hate the Burks pick. But I think the pressure in this situation is not on Burks to perform. It is squarely on AJB who actually downgraded his QB and got paid and he has to do it in front of Philly fans. Burks will be given a lot more leeway than Brown will and if Burks is avg his rookie year and the Titans as a team do better than Philly, the pressure he'll put on Brown will be even greater. I actually think AJB really overplayed his hand. Roseman has a parachute because he has two ones next yr to replace Hurts if he implodes. AJB has no parachute with the Philly fans.
