Stan, while I never agree with you ... you stated the rationale for social irresponsibility perfectly. You know why they call people in their 80's and above "The Greatest Generation"? Without their absolute will to sacrifice together, work as one, to defeat the Axis powers, we would likely be speaking German and the world would be a very different place. Somehow we have lost the collective spirit over the past 80 years. In the end, that will be the demise of our democracy. This should be on the political thread - but in the instance that I agreed with Stan - thought it worth putting here (not the Biden comment, that was classic Stan - but the fundamental underlying sentiment was true). They found the greatest hesitancy is among the least and most educated.
