.....and then all he has to say is what's the point of voting, the final outcome is rigged.  If only a small % of his supporters don't vote, the nominee is screwed.  Trump is ultra vindictive, he'll never let someone who beats him in the primaries turn around and win the general.

This is why unless DeSantis or someone else consolidates all power and fends off Trump, the party will coalesce around Trump in the end imo

Given the scenario I just posted, if I were DeSantis then I'd consider waiting until 2028.  There's risk both way, but I'd like my 2028 chances against Harris/whomever after democrats in power for 8 years.

While Murdoch has to at least appear to play nice with the Fox hosts and their proTrump audiences , the NY Post is where he really gets to show his ass , per Trump biographer Tim O'Brien.  The "Florida man announces" was about as serious a Fuck You, Move Along Partner as I've seen.  Trump has always sought Murdoch's approval , so between that and the Humpty Dumpty op-ed from the week before, Trump won't be happy and won't pretend to be.

A BBC article ponders whether Trump is now in the crosshairs of a Murdoch media empire that has torpedoed the careers of numerous political leaders.

Trump is a threat to Fox News. Fox lost viewership to Newsmax and OAN after the 2020 election. I’m sure Murdoch wants to eliminate the threat that Trump poses to his business.

It will be interesting to see how many of the sheep continue to eat up whatever they see on Fox News vs how many continue to follow whatever Trump has to say and perhaps abandons Fox for more extreme media sources.
