Given the scenario I just posted, if I were DeSantis then I'd consider waiting until 2028. The "Florida man announces" was about as serious a Fuck You, Move Along Partner as I've seen. Fox lost viewership to Newsmax and OAN after the 2020 election. I’m sure Murdoch wants to eliminate the threat that Trump poses to his business. It will be interesting to see how many of the sheep continue to eat up whatever they see on Fox News vs how many continue to follow whatever Trump has to say and perhaps abandons Fox for more extreme media sources.
