OilerTitanHybrid Posted October 26, 2020 Report Share Posted October 26, 2020 I saw Aussie say earlier that Lewan is only a $4.2 million dead cap hit in 2021 and $2.1 in 2022. The remainder of his contract is very tradeable after this season. Might be a little early to discuss this scenario, but on TR, is it ever too early to discuss anything? We don’t need to make this a long term weakness. We need Wilson to man the fuck up and be better than Dennis Kelly so that our Tackles go back to being a strength. Still think that JRob's plan A at OT next season is Lewan at LT and Wilson at RT. If there’s one player on the OL that i could see being a possible cap casualty and not because of play but just age/salary is Saffold. I’ve grown to really like him here, but will be 33 in June and his dead cap will now be “eatable” at this point in the contract. Save near 19 million over 2 years if he’s cut this offseason.
