Popular Post tgo
Not sure if it's been discussed in the other threads - my apologies if it has and I missed it. But the 12 man penalty was a purposeful clock saving move on 2nd and 1. Starkiller, NashvilleNinja, Somedude, and 3 others 3
scine09
Yep, I brought this up yesterday. It surprised me that Gannon didn't pick this up. Particularly since he was on the call the last time Vrabel did this (against the Jets). He actually called it a mistake by the Titans. ShadowCreek
Next time he should send 15 men onto the field to make sure the refs don’t miss calling the penalty Callidus, and TNTitans

Even if its declined I believe the clock stops. Not 100% on that, this is some next level shit from Vrabel. scine09
A caller on 104.5 just brought this up. Glad people are noticing. You can count on one hand how many coaches do this. IsntLifeFunny, tgo, and Justafan

Yeah I don't know if there's another coach other than those two who would have done this. You can say what you want about Vrabel's run first mentality (which, quite frankly, I think is overdone as we're seeing), but his clock management is among if not the best in the league. It's not just this week. How about the way they managed the end of the first half against Buffalo? There's a reason they win all these close games. Obviously a lot of things have to happen but he gives his players a chance by controlling the clock as best as he can. tgo, japan, CreepingDeath, and 2 others

He's supposed to understand these things given that he's the analyst. Particularly since he was doing the game the last time it happened. I guarantee Tony Romo understood what Vrabel was doing. tgo, AJClown, begooode, and 1 other

The Bills game was a perfect example. Justafan, and scine09
