headhunter
Im definitely not gonna be excited who we replace Pees with. Definite downgrade Tex in a Can, Titans279, and Lars
No1TitansFan
An internal promotion might result in Vrabel taking on more of the defensive game planning and less of the offensive; a win-win situation.
Titans279
I think Vrabel is best as a hands off coach though. I hope whoever is DC can handle the job on their own. Justafan, titanruss, BudsOilers, and 1 other 3

Guts
I think we can cross off any position coach from another team who hasn't called plays before. What kind of message would that send to our guys. I think we end up promoting Shane Bowen. As someone has already mentioned he sits beside Pees during games, and he has been given play calling duties during scrimmages. He's obviously been groomed for the position. tgo
My expectation/hope is Bowen or Crennel. Bettcher would be fine if Vrabel and him got on the same page, unlike last time. SuperFreak90

Popular Post Fitz
Vrabel has been very effective at bringing in quality coaches. I'd be alot more concerned about Pees' retirement if Vrabel didn't have the eye and the Rolodex to put strong pieces in place on his staff. I don't feel like we have to worry about Norm Chow / Chuck Cecil type hires under this administration. I wish Pees would give it one more year after coming so close. But that's me being selfish lol. I can't think of any great or good coordinators out there. Somebody suggested we go after Ohio states Defensive coordinator, Greg Schiano. I'm pretty sure Schiano is now the Head Coach at Rutgers. It will be interesting to see what we do. rns90
rns90
Someone mentioned Lewis a few pages back. I don't think he wants to get back into the NFL grind. I think he's pretty happy with his role at ASU. I'm only speculating though.
