Here is the thing though scine. These guys are paid to be professionals. Many of them are playing for a coaching staff that didn't draft him. A lack of effort or focus to the level it would take to justify these results is even more concerning to me than the mistakes I'm seeing because that would indicate a team that is not only completely checked out but also unprofessional. Of course it's reasonable to expect the focus to sharpen and level of effort to increase once the live bullets start flying but surely it's reasonable to expect the baseline to be higher than this? I really don't think effort is that problem out there today, in fact, I'd say it's downright laughable to suggest as much. If tonight was against the Seahawks starters I'd be way less concerned and would weigh the joint practices much higher as I normally do.
