Alcibiades
I should also have mentioned that Tate can block too. Check this video at about 7:50 to see the analysis: Callidus, and begooode

Love and Bailey (The guys I really wanted there) were both off the board, and there is no way to know if they could have traded back. Borgonzi has already shown us he can identify WR talent, and there is plenty to like about Tate. It was also a HUGE need and helps our young QB in a way that no other player available could have. I was as vocal about not reaching for Tate as anyone leading up to the draft, but given the way the board fell and how the staff was all in - I'm on board the train. LFG. If we were wrong about Tate, we're going to look pretty stupid with stuff like this out there... headhunter, Justafan, begooode, and 6 others 7

Starkiller
In the end he’s the best WR available and the best guy on the board at 4 they could draft to help Ward. He’s a safe pick even if the upside is limited. BeedoeLaw, and begooode

This guy gets it. Developing Cam is what matters most to this franchise and Tate was the best player on the board to accomplish that. Getting Faulk on the back end is chef's kiss. Now fix the OL. Trade Levis and get them back in range for one of those guards. BeedoeLaw, and begooode

His contested catch rate was 85%, i wonder what that list looks like if you bump that threshold up some.

I still think they bring Zeitler back for another year and if you add a rangy LB to Gray behind this front, they are going to stay clean and cause havoc.
