Long story short, he is an analytical dream. Absoluty elite in

catch rate

contested catch rate

drop rate

yards per route run against both zone and man

Firstdown/touchdown rate

Seperation

Passer rating when targeted

And all of that efficiency at 17+ average depth of target.

He is great across the board. The only knocks on him are he isnt great after the catch and he was the number 2 wr to the best wr prospect since megatron.

He runs vertical routes, not screens and lob passes, so his yards are air yards not after catch yards.  So even that is not a negative; it is just part of his game - he is an outside receiver.

Did we really draft Tate or does Jamal need to see him in a jersey first

Still think dike is more of a slot. One reason tje Robinson signing surprised me. Although Dabol does like smaller wrs outside.

Could be right. I think they make a good trio though. Robinson underneath, dike over the middle, and tate over the top and on the sidelines.

While I agree that is part of why his yac numbers are not great he caught a lot of curls and combacks and didnt do much with them after the catch. Doesn't bother me at all though with him converting something stupid like 70% of his catches into first downs or touchdowns.

We’re building around Ward. And Tate is a key piece. I suspect they have another edge targeted in a later round and took a pretty solid pick. BPA. Keep it going.

Yep and with the money we spent on defense talent had to be added on offense and I'm glad it's an outside WR

He isn't flashy. He just gets it done. Here is every target along with some blocking from 2025.

Its like joe alt 2 years ago, he wins so easily its borning.

30 minutes?  Jesuussss....never really need more then 2 minutes usually.  I'll carve out some time tonight to watch on my TV.  To many posters I enjoy are on board with this so want to give it the respect it deserves....before I blow my load all over it....respectfully.

There is plenty of o hell ya stuff in there. But the down to down consistency is what drew me in.

The best part about only having a a cursory/mcshay show knowledge on all these kids is that it'd be pretty hard to actually make me disappointed.

I really do it enjoy it a lot when some of the regulars here who care a lot more and put actual time in watching/researching things get their favorite guy.
