They might see these guys as insurance for banking on young guys. What I mean to say is that Volson and Schlottman are just good enough that if you draft an IOL early, you might feel good enough about what you have on the oline, especially if you think Slater is the future at C.

I think they take a guard in this draft in the 3rd or 4th, and then they have Slater who they obviously like.

I’ve already said you can write it in pencil

that they’re taking Rutledge at 66. Haven’t felt this good about predicting a titans third round pick since I said they would take Byard there!

Did you really predict Byard in the 3rd?

Drive up value for what lmfao? Oh shit the titans are interested in Love! We better trade up for Love! Christ lol

That's someone reaching lol.   Titans like Love and he's probably going to be the pick.  There is almost no reason to subterfuge in this one.  I will mostly find it funny bc of all the strict positional value ppl. I don't really care who they get as long as they get someone who is truly worth the 4 overall and they don't reach for position or need.  Get a generational, top of the draft talent.   Do that and I'm good.

Ofc it’s reaching lol, there’s zero strategic value in what OS is presenting.

I mean, yeah, that's exactly right.

And based on many of the top draft analysts, if you buy what they're saying, there's only one blue chip player in the draft and edge and WR aren't one of them.

That's Occam's Razor. But we don't know for sure, can only speculate based on the info that's out there. I'm not sold 100% on which direction they're going yet but I do get the impression that it has a distinct lean now.

I've leaned that way as well but the truth is, I don't know, and I don't really trust that the analysts know beyond the commonly accepted narrative and even if they have an idea, they often aren't taking things into account like style, scheme, personality, and behind the scenes info that only the teams have access to.

If it were me making the choice, it would be Edge at #4 and then I would heavily consider drafting Price or Coleman in Round 3/4.

My personal hope is that we ride out Pollard one more year and next year use our second rounder on……Mark Fletcher Jr, RB, Miami

I’m not saying they’re putting out smoke on purpose this time, but this same regime literally played coy until two days before the draft when THEY HAD THE FIRST OVERALL PICK lol

lol fix your brain.... if the Titans are interested in trading back a few spots, making teams think they are interested in love makes perfect sense.

if prag and buk agree, its probably a terrible point being made. Both guys think Love should be the pick so they find reasons to enforce that narrative.
