What I mean to say is that Volson and Schlottman are just good enough that if you draft an IOL early, you might feel good enough about what you have on the oline, especially if you think Slater is the future at C. But we don't know for sure, can only speculate based on the info that's out there. I'm not sold 100% on which direction they're going yet but I do get the impression that it has a distinct lean now. I've leaned that way as well but the truth is, I don't know, and I don't really trust that the analysts know beyond the commonly accepted narrative and even if they have an idea, they often aren't taking things into account like style, scheme, personality, and behind the scenes info that only the teams have access to.
