My personal hope is that we ride out Pollard one more year and next year use our second rounder on……Mark Fletcher Jr, RB, Miami sooo.. In professional soccer, teams develop pipeline of talent from academies to lower level pro teams to the pro team. (they develop talent and then keep or sell them). How come I have a feeling, you want Miami as a permanent academy feeder for the Titans? ;-D AvgJoe, and NashvilleNinja

At least miami has a history of elite nfl talent. NashvilleNinja, AvgJoe, and Pragidealist 1

Both guys think Love should be the pick so they find reasons to enforce that narrative. No. I think he WILL be the pick. There's a difference. I told you months ago I was going to give you shit about RB at 4 lol. That's before I even looked at prospects. You are doggedly conventional wisdom. I understand and respect it but believe you have to know when to ditch it. I am cool with whomever they pick as long as it's not a talent reach. I've been pretty clear. I will also give you shit every offseason about some prospect high that I know you don't want. Friendly promise. oldschool

Most people in the know knew Cam was the #1 pick when they signed Brandon Allen and noone else in FA. There was info saying that they loved Cam after the combine, just like it has been this year about Love. Pragidealist, and IsntLifeFunny

Easton was the only one confidentially reporting it was Cam for way longer than you seem to remember. I’m talking about the front office and how they approached the entire draft process. Go look at the owner’s meetings coverage. rns90

Pragidealist
It was known for a long time that Cam was the pick. One reason he got so little attention was bc it was such a forgone conclusion early. BeedoeLaw, and TerryBoats

This is Borgonzi at the owners meetings on May 1st ”We're still going through the process," he said. "We've always said we wanted to go through the entire process before we made any decision with the No.1 pick. At the same time, we will still listen to teams. But, at some point, we have to make a decision here, on if we're going to stay at the pick, or possibly trade it.” rns90, and Justafan

The tea leaves have led us to Love while you’re stuck on the rigidity of it needing to be a premium position. We’ve just accepted it. I will always pick who I believe the teams going to take, not who I want em to take. I originally believed it was Tate, you don’t see me trying to justify that still do you?
