Free agent WRs are going to cost a lot of money, more money than we're gonna lose by cutting Ridley. So while he's expensive, he may still be the best WR for the cost. Â We also all hated Van Jefferson for his drops preseason, and his hands were way more consistent during the regular season. Â The most ideal scenario at this point is Pittman (assuming he's available), or Tate if Pittman is unavailable or if they decide to go that way in the 1st instead of edge. I think the first half was so attrocious that opinions were set and it masked the improvement that happened later.
