The entire OLine improved significantly in the back half of the season. I think the first half was so attrocious that opinions were set and it masked the improvement that happened later.

Ya, Skoronski still gets bonus points in my book because he was solid start to finish. Even with the greatest coach to ever live fucking everything up.

Edit: thats a papa reference, brian doesn't get the honor of my sarcasm.

No idea where this nugget fits so thought it might worth starting a thread for all Titans non HC offseason discussion.   This was meant to happen last offseason but Sweat never showed up so

Who will we draft? The answer has been there the whole time.

At least part of this was Ward getting rid of the ball quicker

He still took too many sacks

True, but there was quite a bit of instant pressure to go along with him playing madden back there dropping back 15 yards.

13ish. Roughly half his cap hit.

Interesting. Pretty close in terms of numbers. He would have to be betting on himself to get 15 million plus and I seriously don't see anyone paying that kind of money after last season and the injury.

Cutting Ridley saves 13M against the cap.  That will more than pay for a new contract for Romeo Doubs as an example.  Ridley is age 31 and breaking down.  Doubs is 25.

Gets some guys in here who can play with Cam for several years to come.

Isn't Doubs supposedly a headcase? And no, I'm not talking about the actual head case he wears on his helmet...

This is a long, long article but it paints a pretty good picture of who he is.

One thing I like about him is this:

Robiskie taught Doubs how to play stronger from the 20-, 10- and 5-yard line in because that’s where everything gets compact. It’s no coincidence that Doubs has emerged as one of the best red-zone targets in the NFL.

I read elsewhere that Doubs caught 6 TDs last year.  5 of the 6 were inside the opponents 15 yd.  line.  Titans, imo, need more guys who excell in the red zone.  More Tds, fewer FGs is a pathway to improve the offense.

That and they need a sure handed receiver.  Too many drops . And I trust we have enough intel on him (Brinker and Saleh ) .

Honestly, reading through some of that he just sounds like a private person who is anti diva as a WR.

We'll see who they go after. Daboll is known to prefer quick receivers who can separate and create after the catch -- if he stays true to his history, there are a number of WRs who simply won't fit.

That means they’re drafting Tyson at 4 confirmed.

Signing Doubs would be a huge mistake - guy went AWOL on the team for two days in the middle of game week and then was suspended for the game in 2024. He's also just very clearly a loon when you listen to enough of his interviews.

There's a reason Green Bay is not interested in re-signing him. This is not the kind of guy you want to give 50 million dollars to.

Cutting Ridley to sign Doubs improves nothing

I don’t understand the fascination by titans fans with Breece Hall. Tony Pollard had a better YPC LAST season than Hall has had since his rookie year when he only got like 80 carries lol Why we so obsessed with paying more money at running back for the same production?
