Titans Offseason Discussion Thread

I wonder if they should just go ahead and take care of his extension now instead of waiting until next off-season, assuming Simmons would be ammenable.

He's not scheduled to become a free agent until 2028 so it's not a pressing need, but taking care of him now and all but guaranteeing he plays out the entirety of his career in TN while we're flush with cash could be a fairly shrewd move, especially when Cam starts getting closer to his 2nd contract.

And let's face it, he deserves it after the season he just had.

Simmons likely isn't stepping into live NFL action in 2026 while he only has $6.47 million of guaranteed money left on his existing deal.

There is a reason why Simmons switched out agents this season ahead of contract talks this offseason.

No idea where this nugget fits so thought it might worth starting a thread for all Titans non HC offseason discussion.   This was meant to happen last offseason but Sweat never showed up so

Who will we draft? The answer has been there the whole time.

That’s a lot of hooch

The Titans need to spend money on CB, RB, a WR, and DL in free agency. The goal is absolutely become a draft and develop team and it should be, but there are too many holes for it to be solely that model right now.

Ideally Borgonzi brings in two starting CB’s, a WR at least like Doubs/Jennings, and depth at DL. Several have mentioned Breece Hall, he would be a good add

If you're going to go the free agency route then go get another 1 year insurance signing like Tyquon Thornton or Dyami Brown. Or maybe sign Calvin Austin, if the Steelers want to go with Roman Wilson over Austin.

I'd rather supplement the rookies we got this year instead of trying to find that true go-to guy since there doesn't seem (right now) to be a guy like that available unless we take Carnell or Tyson with the 1. And I'd rather them spend that pick on an edge.

Smith isn't the only talented WR coming out next year. Cam Coleman, Ryan Williams, Nick Marsh, and TJ Moore could all potentially be a target.

There's also the possibility they could bring Ridley back for one more go at it. If they do then it may not be as pressing to go get a guy right now.
