No idea where this nugget fits so thought it might worth starting a thread for all Titans non HC offseason discussion.   This was meant to happen last offseason but Sweat never showed up so

Who will we draft? The answer has been there the whole time.

In other news... Bam just broke Kobes record

I don’t get the NBA anymore. Is it basically positionless now? Cause I’m looking at a box score where a Center is 20/43 shooting, 7/22 from 3, and scoring 83 points.

Yeah its more about roles and versatility. Bam is a 6'9 center with a decent handle, a good mid game and can shoot open threes, but will still post you up... whats crazier is that he's known for being an elite defender, not a scorer.

Yeah I always thought of him as one of those super high energy defensive players that cause chaos, like a Draymond Green type? Not sure that’s the best comparison but that type of unique player. Crazy though, 83 points.

Malachi Lawrence is like in the 60s on the consensus board and was like around 100 pre-combine. I respect if your personal evaluation leads you to think he was always first rounder or even top of the second (I didn’t see anyone here say that pre-combine), but maybe don’t pretend anyone who didn’t see him going that high until now as some rube lol

Im not calling you a rube. A few of us have been mentioning him for about 3 months. It was mostly in passing at first because he was ranked in the 140s. I straight up said I wasn't going to keep drafting him in those early mocks because there was no way he gets that far.

Him being a 2nd or 3rd at the time was the conversation when it went more indepth. After the combine the rest of the world seemed to carch up and shot him up to a mid 2nd.

I would put him in that late first maybe if your lucky top of the 2nd now.

It was definitely easy to miss though. The comment was more a flex for being in the know before he got popular. Probably only 5 or 6 of us.

He didn't break Kobe's record, WIlt has the record.  Kobe was second to Wilt's 100 point game.  But still one heck of a game for sure

What a nerdy "wELl aCtUalLY" response... the sports world has been calling it the Kobe record for 20 years because its understood that the 100 point mark wont be reached. Dont be a dork

True, but it's OK to remind everyone that Wilt is the GOAT. He had sex with 100 women that same night, as I recall. My mom was one of them.

I had to do a double-take... I thought this was a @woolfolksunclesuncle post.

But you might want to consult Ancestry. You and WFU might be half brothers. I think his mom was one of them too.
