i was thinking the same And was hoping for a Rodriguez 2nd rounder but they've been bringing in later round off ball / pass defense LBs.

It could be they are looking for a possible bargain version of Rodriguez is they cant get him.

Love immediately makes you a more explosive team. He's going to add 10-20 TDs a year through the run and pass game. He's going to upgrade your pass protection. He's going to force teams to account for

The Jaguars gave up what again for Travis Hunter? This notion we should take less capital is kind of mind boggling. If a team wants to move then they need to pay the full price.

On todays Move the Stick podcast Daniel Jeremiah said one of the current "hot" names among teams is Ole Miss WR De'Zhaun Stribling.

Stribling is someone the Titans have met with during the draft process.

So is he stripping down nude to reveal he's got no bladder control as he dribbles down his leg?

Sorry for the bad joke about his name. I just don't have much of anything of value to add and his name is just odd.

I really think they are setting up for bpa most all of the draft.  They've brought in early LBs too.

There's still FA G/C, okereke, edges available if needed after the draft.

They should make last years Mr Irrelevant jetpack-parachute into a circle of cheerleaders and cancer kids that are all holding the eternal draft flame.  One of which Mr Irrelevant takes with his right hand to light a pathway of fire leading to the stage.

The crowd repeatedly chants "the draft shalt never die" in unison as a black dove takes an envelope from Mr Irrelevant's other hand and races against the flames flying past them towards the stage. The chanting grows.

Goodels podium appears through the flames as a white dove delivers him the 1st pick envelope. "with the first pick in the 202x draft..."

The draft should start with the first pick being announced.  No stupid "welcome" speeches. No one wants to hear them talk. It's always terrible stage entertainment by the main crew.

Having the first pick make us wait is the biggest gripe every single year.  If teams haven't figured out a trade by the time Mr Irrelevant lands, they are shit outta luck.

Is it me or does it seem to be getting worse (or longer)?  Used to be five mins , then they go to the first pick.

Now it’s close to a half hour , before you even start the damn thing .  And it’s all unnecessary.

they do a song and dance bullshit thing. They have talking heads. They have a big ceremonious welcome,  they have Goodall talk for a while for some terrible reason... and then they have to have chat about the local city with local celebrities doing a vaguely inside joke with the locals. Then they go on the clock and then they continue the bullshit.

I've heard it said they aren't made for TV as much as they are made for a crowd to watch. Something on stage all the time kinda thing regardless of what's televised.  So it makes so

e sense from that perspective but it's dumb af.

I never said zero chance. I just said they would be going against everything they’ve ever done outside of one time at the very end of the first round and they did it because Mahomes wanted them to. And it failed lol

Why do you always assume people are talking about you? They aren't - that's a direct shot at oldschool.

Most of us have been friends on here for decades, and we take low-key shots at each other all the time. Don't mean anything by it. That's just how this place has always worked.

It feels like it takes 5 minutes from the time you see "THE PICK IS IN" to when the pick is actually announced.

Perhaps for a class with a lot of top prospects (like Jeremiah Smith, etc), it makes sense to milk it and build suspense.  But when everyone knows the first pick and there are maybe 1 or 2 other great prospects, it becomes unwatchable.  Nobody wants to wait 15 minutes to watch a RT or box Safety selected.

Because I made that argument??? I’m confused why you think I took offense to it. I was just explaining why I thought that (again)

Also I’ve been here since 2011 lol
