Would be exactly what the Chiefs did at G last year where they paid the younger ascending guy in Trey Smith and traded away the expensive veteran in Thuney. It would be up to AAS or the front office to override that. I don't think they (the team) would've been happy. At the end of the day, the playcall wasn't the issue. Really bad luck how he landed.
