I don't see the point of allowing terms in a deal that 1) the other team can maniulate (snaps for Jones) and 2) have nothing to do with Jones' performance. Jones could get 10 sacks from here on out but the Raven lose Jackson and miss the playoffs and our compensation suffers.

On his podcast today PK said he did some digging post trade deadline to try and find if there was anything in those reports coming from the Patriots side about AAS refusing to deal with them because of her animosity towards Vrabel.

 

What PK discovered was at no point did the Patriots make a trade offer for either Pollard or Key but they were involved and did in fact make an offer for Dre'Mont Jones. 

 

So any frustration on the Patriots side was totally related to them missing out on Dre'Mont Jones who obviously was sent to the Ravens.

Was he able to verify if there was any truth to the statements made by media members about friction between the teams?

All PK said from his sourcing inside the Titans it was total BS and if the Patriots had been the highest bidders for any player they would of taken their offer.
