Got it. lol then exactly how many players being traded constitutes not putting the best team on the field and giving yourself the best chances of winning. oldschool
TerryBoats
That McCreary trade is already paying off for the Rams. They won their game today. Titans screwed up big time. japan, rns90, titanskick8851, and 1 other 3
NashvilleNinja
Trading players now in hopes of obtaining draft capital for the future means they are trying to establish the potential for winning in the future. That's the exact opposite of trying to lose. Hyperion, and titanskick8851

Someone actually has to be on the field to impact the game? Football is a team sport. And it didn't matter who the opponent was today. The confidence the team gained from adding an All-Pro CB spelled doom for whoever they will face. rns90, oldschool, and titanskick8851 2

This seems to happen way more in MLB and NBA—the recycling of bad head coaches. Those sports are okay with teams openly rebuilding /tanking . The Twins just hired the Pirates former manger , Derrick Shelton , he of the .410 winning percentage. You can’t tell me that the Twins are hoping to contend with that managerial hire. I don't care what people call it... what they're doing is what they said they were going to do, and that's build through the draft. You can't cook an omelet without cracking eggs. You don't build through the draft without picks and the only way you get more picks is through trades.
