Harbough is 63.  Its why I wonder if he's really the titans primary target.  Reid has shown that can still mean 10 year though... its hard to judge.

The fact that Harbaugh is interested in the Titans job is a tell on how attractive the job and Cam are.  He's seen as the top candidate league wide and he's interested despite all the bs being pushed about AAS by some posters.

 

Whether he ultimately comes here is another question.

lots of coaches coach into their late 60s... don't see the issue.

Have we even requested to interview Harbaugh?  I know we keep getting linked to him but can't find anywhere that we've actually requested an interview with him. 

 

Everywhere I see is "Titans top 2 or 3" in regards to Harbaugh. "Harbaugh likes what he sees in Tn" "Harbaugh watching Cam ward tape on his own this weekend" "Dont count out TN, Harbaugh is really interested in that job"

 

The only actual reports I've seen is that the Titans engaged in a preliminary call with him and not even sure that was confirmed. 

 

Maybe we don't want him and he want's us ..or is trying to use us for leverage to get more money elsewhere.

Its reported they've talked and that harbaugh is figuing out who he will interview with. So.. have they requested? It would seem so.... but nothing scheduled.

They can.  In my professional life, I've seen a drop in sharpness in colleagues around in 70.   And I think the original plan (bfore BC flamed out)- was a young, smart, long term coach.  Has that totally changed with Borgonzi or is that still underlying a preference (but maybe not a requirement)?

 

I could see him being a high valued target bc of who he is .. but not being their ideal target to their preferred requirements.

Technically, they don't have to request an interview with Harbaugh.  He's a free agent that can do as he pleases.
