Albert Breer has a few nuggets here about the HC search and some of the analytical studies the team is already undertaking about varying success rates of second time HC and coordinators with more than

It is becoming really annoying how some people are using bad result as an excuse to paint the last HC hiring process as a sham. Facts are Callahan was an in demand candidate during that hiring cycle e

Callahan was a great "candidate" and a terrible head coach.

I’ll make a prediction, if the Titans do consider someone from the college ranks, it’s not Sarkisian. I think it would be Marcus Freeman.

Would be at least be interesting!

Freeman makes about 3x Callahan's annual salary.

He’s either trolling at this point or one seriously dumb mfer

I thought it was obvious. There are some legit business strategy stuff behind my primary point and I also don't believe this is a well run org at all.

But a clue - if I am posting anything at 2am or with one line,  quick posts-  I am probably, playfully trolling.   There's nothing else really to do on this site for the next several months.

Can you guys imagine how many underperforming employees Prag must have in his org right now?

Well we're very cost and people oriented here.  I imagine if you manage the way you talk, your retention numbers suck ass.  We've found cost of acquiring and onboarding new staff is over twice as much as the person's salary - that's not even including loss of productivity with vacancies and instability.

One of the early indicators of a program or division going down the drain is when retention numbers drop. Usually at that point its a management issue that has to be fixed... often times at the executive level.    Those are not pretty.

(yes this is me trolling if anyone can't tell--- also some truth in there)

It should be Curt Cignetti. Leader of men, culture setter.

You forgot this part:   On October 16, 2025, Cignetti and Indiana signed an eight-year, $93 million contract extension.[18]

If I were picking the perfect OC, philosophically, for Cam Ward - it would be Brian Daboll. There are plenty of other workable options of course, but he is philosophically ideal. Very similar offensive views to Tim Kelly/Bill O'Brien. Mike Kafka now knows the system as well of course.

Interestingly, Brian Daboll had a year (under Crennel) with the Chiefs while Borgonzi was there. Also has a relationship with Saleh from what I'm reading - due to their time together in the NY market and holding joint practices and such.

If Mike McDaniel somehow doesn't get fired, Daboll could be a high ranking OC option to pair with Saleh who would be unlikely to get sniped as a HC in the future.

I wouldn't be opposed. I think the Giants made a huge mistake. Schoen hamstrung the org with some retarded moves. As soon as Daboll had the players, he started to have success but got bad luck with injuries.

Yeah - I wouldn't say Daboll is great HC material. But he's an elite OC imo

His main success was with Josh Allen, which to me is incredible. Allen becoming an elite QB in the NFL is not something anyone should've bet on.

But I disagree about the HC part. He has charisma. He might be a better "coach" than OC. This fits the bill for what Borgo says he wants +he's an offensive guy. I'm sure Borgo and Brinker have had plenty of conversations with him during the trade negotiations. It would be hilarious if Titans turned things around by not trading the pick then getting the Giants coach.

Daboll made some of the dumbest decisions i've ever seen at HC. He also doesn't give a shit about player safety and fucked with the concussion rules openly and on prime-time several times
