Shouldnt take long since you can count them on one hand in 4 games. I didnt say he's been bad but for a guy drafted top 10, he's not great.
IsntLifeFunny
He caused a sack in this last game when he got put on skates and ran over. He's solid, but he definitely isn't a world beater. oldschool
Righteous
Seriously, in hindsight sight what did we really expect was going to happen? We hired a GM, who was 4th in the pecking order is SF, who hired a HC who never called a play to be both play caller and HC, and he hired an OC, his HS teammate, who has never called an NFL play or run an NFL offense, a DC who has never called an NFL play or run a defense, and a ST coach, a good friend, who has never coached a ST. And now, we are expecting a QB coach, who has only called 9 games as an interim OC, to right the ship? This is not something you stay with long term to show stability. You tear it down and start over because it’s simply the house that was built too small. This ish is a joke!!!! TerryBoats, and animatormike
Popular Post OzTitan
How right was the NFL to avoid giving the Titans a primetime game? honestly great call by the NFL. Disagree, puting the titans in a loopsided game giving up 100 points would get good ratings.
OneMoreYard
Growing pains are to be expected for a rookie quarterback, but no No. 1 quarterback picked this century who's started from Day 1 has thrown fewer touchdowns in their first month than Cam Ward. Stan
Jags had back to back first picks recently, you’re not gonna find a trade partner especially if there isn’t a team that is QB needy or a once in a lifetime generational talent at QB. This QB class this year is very average. If we end up picking number 1 again, highly likely we stay put and pick the best OT or DE DCTitan, and Supernope 1
TheChosenTitan
Wards rookie year is all about reps, couldn’t care less about the stats just the reps and experience. The thing we want to see is gradual improvement but I got to say since week 1 he has regressed a bit and overthinking now. First couple weeks he was getting the ball out much faster than he is now. Jay Gruden talked about this yesterday. He said Ward's situation is as bad as it gets for a rookie QB. They cant run the ball consistently, cant pass protect, cant get open, and cant stop anyone on defense. Everything is on Ward and he's pressing. He said no rookie could succeed or grow in this situation right now. OILERMAN, TheChosenTitan, DecepticonShawn2, and 5 others 7
nine
Right now their development plan for Ward is more likely to induce PTSD than meaningful development….it’s doing more harm than good. He’s already noticeably more hesitant, less decisive, and far more inaccurate than he was just 2-3 weeks ago. And of course. opponents now have film on him and can plan around his tendencies…which makes it even harder. The way I see it, they have two options: tell Ward to get the ball out quicker even if it means taking risks and throwing a ton of INTs….or sit him and let Brandon Allen serve as the punching bag while the coaching staff works through this dumpster fire of incompetence they’ve created. Neither is a good option. But it’s better than turning Cam into another Mariota circa 2019 where he becomes completely useless and a big part of the problem . Zeitler as well. Borganzi has some explaining to do because so far, his attempts to patchwork the OL this year have failed badly. By all metrics and these guys history the OL should be better than last year. These are experienced lineman that were brought in, not guys like Dillard who was a high draft pick who never showed out in the league. You have to put this on Bill Callahan and the scheme.
