Think we will also see them release Pollard this offseason looking to get younger and more explosive at RB.

After releasing Ridley/Sneed/Pollard that will leave Borgonzi with around $109 million in effective cap space to scour over a shallow list of FA talent next offseason.

The other option, which also entails having draft capital, is to trade for & extend players rather than hoping they hit free agency. We swung and missed on Sneed but the strategy is still useful.

One major reason to fire callahan this week is that the team is getting worse. They aren't battling despite being overmatched. They are regressing and its only going to get worse.

They're telling Callahan the rules

I watched some of the Chiefs vs Ravens and Cowboys and Packers yesterday. I probably only saw a combined two quarters, but what stood out was all the teams were able to scheme open their targets. Not every time, but a lot of the time.

I think we have a talent and scheme issue, most likely with Callahan’s system being too rigid like his Dad’s and players not being able to separate

I do agree it is to rigid. I also think they are limiting the playbook to much. There are so many concepts we refuse to use. Idk why, is it because ward isn't comfortable with them? Are they afraid of the tipped balls on short crossing routes because of the preseason?

Even if you leave out playaction, motion, and rollouts, the complete lack of any routes between the numbers under 10 yards almost ever leaves a massive unused void.

I haven't rewatched a single game this season and certainly am not willing to pay for the all-22. From the broadcast view, it appears to me the WRs aren't doing much and since the Titans aren't backing the defense off with a few deep shots per half, the defense is playing up in their faces and just owning the shit out of the Titans offense. I'm not sure scheme matters in this context.... although I won't defend it at this point.

I had to look and make sure I didn’t post this exact thing lol. Great minds. Agreed, you have to take deep shots to back off the defense. I’ve never understood offenses refusing to do it
