Stan
He’s pretty much done. This is just our FO way of saying we’re gonna try and fix it ourselves before we have to head to the mechanic. Anyone seeing it any other way is blind

The Titans actually need two things, Ward to develop and to get the #1 pick(to trade). They got Callahan away from the play calling and left him in charge of the thing he's the absolute worst at, among the worst I've ever seen, managing the game. Do your thing Callahan! I care less about his game managment and more about his designing the offense and teaching/grooming the QB as well as his collaberative style of coaching. But i'm sure for those who think a player is just good or he's not won't see the value in what he's (supposedly) good at. Stan
The front office and Amy know this team is going no where. This is to protect Cam Ward not to protect BC.

The only thing they could do short of firing him was take away play calling. You can’t take game management away from a coach. I’ll reiterate, he is likely 90% fired at the end of the season but was 100% before this move. It’s possible he was overwhelmed doing both jobs and small chance he could be better. He also needs to grow a pair. He keeps playing so conservative. He needs to recognize his team is almost always going to be less talented than the other team. He needs to take risks. Go for more 4th downs. Not be a bitch every time we get the ball late in a half to settle for a field goal attempt. I can see why they'd give the play calling responsitilities to Hardegree as he's got experience doing it but then... why isn't he the OC and Holz the QB coach? Seems they think Holz needed help last year and brought in Hardegree but didn't want to demote Holz. This is essentially a demoting of Holz imo. Holtz must do something otherwise Borgo would swoop in and fire him immediately as he has control over the coaches right?
Stan
Again who gives a shit if he got play calling duties taken from him, he’d still not going to magically turn into a good coach. When your team is in a dog fight against a team that has only punted once in 3 games you can’t be telling your team well let’s try a 64 yard field goal to cut the lead to 8 LOL. That’s loser mentality and you can’t just flip a switch and change that. IsntLifeFunny

This is a demotion of Holz to a degree (granted i don't know his day to day job) but if the offense turns around do you fire Holz? Maybe. Then officially promote Hardegree. Seems odd. Stan
My gusss is either Amy wanted him fired knowing how quick fingered she is and our FO said well before we do anything rash let’s try this. He’s a dead man walking I give it a few more weeks. Houston will definitely beat us despite their issues they’re still much better team on all 3 phases. That’s the thing . He’s honestly worse at game management than play calling. For those that are arguing that he wasn’t hired for playcalling ability (despite not having done it), if that’s the case why didn’t he hire a better OC? It’s obvious they hired him because they thought he could build a modern offense and that means him calling the plays and not Holz.
