If we lose to the browns without even playing them on sunday they need to fire everyone.

You know how every year there are a couple of games that 50-60% of the people are eliminated in survivor pools because everyone picks the supposed lock?    Just sayn

Not rooting for it, of course, but how wild would it be if Cam threw 4 INTs, lost the game - and then the media ran with it... "Gunslinger Cam goes down in flames!" "Clearly Ward was not worth the 1st pick!" "Titans are doomed!" etc. etc., but then he lights it up the rest of the year and they sneak into the playoffs. 😝

This isnt an unlikely scenario

It's week 1 an anything can happen. We've had time to plan and we were better than our record last year by a few games. If Cam shows he's the real deal, the end of this season could still be somewhat meaningful. We could absolutely come out and stun them but the chances are very very low.

This team has a ton more question marks than Denver and was the worst offense v the best Defense of last season. I struggle to find 3-4 instances in my lifetime that a rookie QB, on a bottom 10 level team, started and won the first game of the year... now do that against a top 5 defense from the prior year and its even more impossible to find.  Add in the elevation and the Broncos home opener record and their fans being more excited for season than any other teams fans.. and its a rough recipe.

I expect 4 sacks on our offense. People will complain and blow up about how shitty that is - but that's what the Broncos averaged per game last year. I also expect a turnover or 2 from the QB. I also expect there to be several WOW plays and late scores to make it more interesting.

I will say that it's kind of a similar setup to the Bears week 1 game last season. Which is encouraging to think of it in those terms - because we were competing in that game - though the Broncos are better all around and their QB has a year under his belt.
