The RAS scores are a good tool, but they're just one tool to help guide decisions. At the end of the day, Brinker/Borgonzi decided to sign him to an opportunity. You might say that they only did it as a favor to Cam, but if they didn't think he had any shot at all they wouldn't have diverted team resources just to placate their new QB.
