Im betting the first major qb injury in the league is his ticket to a trade, for either a 4th or a couple of late pics

No one is giving a 4th or a couple of late pics for Levis.

It was well known he was available during the draft and not a single team was willing to trade for him.

The Browns had the worst QB room in the entire league and instead of trading for Levis they used 3rd and 5th round picks on two other guys.

That video wasn’t even in slow motion. It’s just Restrepo.

QB1 Mood

God help us if he opens up with 4 TD and 0 picks.....

That's why I chastise Callahan for screaming at Levis when he screwed up.  How could he not know that he was going to do something stupid?   He looks like he has no control over his actions much of the time.

He probably thought initially the stuff in the classroom would eventually translate, but got frustrated when Levis made boneheaded mistake after mistake. He has no business being an NFL qb if he can’t handle the criticism.

meanwhile, you fellate a corny ass dude.

The point is that he sucks, and the coach should expect him to do dumb shit instead of being so surprised that he yells at him on the field.  Why is it so hard to comprehend this?  It makes Callahan appear like he's not very bright, which partially explains the shitty results last year.

You are never going to win this terrible argument. The only reason anyone in media ever talked about it was because drama sells and the coach coming within an inch of telling his qb he is retarded gets views.

You could be right about this..maybe that's why they traded Willis and got something for him.. In retrospect,  they laid all of the chips on the table in an attempt to get something out of Levis, only to see it backfire..surely Callahan knew this as did the team early in the season..

How does that make sense? If he is excelling in the classroom, then fucking up when the bullets fly, it warrants the criticism and coaching. It only bothers you because you don’t like Callahan. I’d venture to say not many people use that situation as a measuring stick for Callahan’s intelligence.

Even though I’m retired, I still have former colleagues connected to the sideline medical team , one of whom has been in place for multiple seasons.  Typically he starts IV’s, administers meds etc , mostly dealing with hydration, minor scrapes and bruises so not an orthopedic surgeon.. Let me say that he is not a fan boy, it’s just part of his job..

He told me that we have never had a more nervous qb than Levis in his time , going back to Mariota.. Furthermore, so nervous  that the doctor couldn’t see how he could focus and just play.. That fits with Callahan and Levis saying that he needed to reprogram his nervous system.. It’s ironic that Ward seems to be the exact opposite, maybe more than ironic, even purposeful..

It's not really ironic- its what we do.  We draft one guy and then get his opposite. We get Young-  low IQ, partier, with no work ethic and then got Locker-  smarter, hard work ethic and all business. But Locker was a lb playing qb-  all go hard and hit hard.. so we got Marriota.. calm (or looked it) Hawaiia dude who wont take chances.   We just got Levis-  all arm and physical traits and gun slinging but with really poor emotional control.   Now we go with Ward.. mr nonchalant.

I think this time it may work in our favor as emotional control and ice water in his veins types .. with the crazy work ethic seems to be common traits of really good qbs.   We'll see but I'm hopeful ... (again)

Its interesting we consistently do this over decades of qbs even with different leadership and coaches.

I wouldn't say Ward is nonchalant. That was Mariota. Ward's fire burns insanely hot. He just knows how to control and redirect it.

We have to be one of if not the most rollercoaster team in the nfl. Most teams either stay near the top or the bottom. A few bob around in the middle. They all have an outlier here or there. We ride the wave from crest to trough and back again almost in perfect 10 year cycles.
