Popular Post OILERMAN
Vrabel magically turned into a good coach the week Tannehill stepped in as the starter. The team was 2-4 before that. Vrabel had a losing record before that. Anyone that watched camp and preseason that year could see Tannehill was very good. He came in the first preseason game and looked great. Vrabel didn't develop or turn Tannehill into that, Tannehill looked like that from the very start. If Drake Maye turns into a good QB then Vrabel will be a "good coach" The real mistake wasn't the Titans fired Mike Vrabel. The real mistake was hiring him over LaFluer. croatian22, smokeater, Starkiller, and 11 others 13

I can't think of another coach that's accomplished as little as Vrabel but is held up as some amazing HC. His hand in personnel, the staff's he's assembled and his playoff strategy/results are horrible. It's all about image. He's a big strong alpha male and looks the part. oldschool
Lol lol lol Jackson is about to be a 3 time MVP. Saying Henry is the best player in Baltimore is insane. https://x.com/ezlazar/status/1879156843387424983?t=BiJbP5cUjY0fzg0CtnMG7g&s=19 Edited January 14 by oldschool BudsOilers, OILERMAN, rns90, and 2 others 4

Hiring a non-playcalling OC was unheard of at the time. The Titans had the opportunity to be the trend setters for once instead of catching up to everyone else. Callahan was a sad attempt at trying to make up for that miss. Edited January 14 by TerryBoats

It's far more likely what he's saying is that Henry was their best player and he's pointing to his play in Baltimore as an example of how good he is ... which is why he doesn't mention Lamar or say Baltimore has a similar situation. He just says you can see it in Baltimore, referring to Henry's quality. English. CreepingDeath, OILERMAN, titanruss, and 4 others 4 2
Popular Post oldschool
BTW you know who actually has the resume Vrabel craves so much and the media hands him without any evidence? Dan Quinn. Superbowl winning DC, took another team to a superbowl as HC, got fired, learned from it, and now is part of rebuilding the Skins with Peters. He doesn't want personnel control, he wants to win and his team loves him. BudsOilers, AvgJoe, IsntLifeFunny, and 5 others 7

At the time LaFleur was extremely green. I don't think he was ready to be a head coach. One of the biggest reasons that LaFleur was able to succeed so quickly was because of Aaron Rodgers. I don't think he'd have been as successful with the Titans than Mike Vrabel was.

The meathead cock-gobblers think they've won because Vrabel's former team decided to hire him. Obviously, you all don't require him to actually perform before taking your victory lap...you all are just so desperately looking for something to be correct about, and this is the closet you've come to it in several years. He said that Henry was the best player in TN, based on what he is doing now in Baltimore. Not that he's the best Ravens player. The idea they didn't feature him on offense should get him more criticism IowaOiler, IsntLifeFunny, ChesterCopperpot1, and 2 others 4
