Maybe it all tur ed on the sweat crap like @TheBukafax Sneed for a 3 isn’t even bad. A proven high end player at the 2nd most important position on the D. He had lots of tread and the team had the cap space to take on the injury risk. I can see how anybody could get behind that. Now we have Sweat. Never played a down. Has character and weight management concerns. Played a 2 down spot with hopes he could become 3 down. They gave up a 2nd and a 5th for the ability to use their 2 on Sweat. That’s disregarding the probability that he fell to 52. Its funny how this board looked at the Sneed trade for a 3rd as dogshit but the Sweat pick for 2 2nds and a 5th was a good decision lmfao. I cant remember this happening for another gm. To be fair I dont follow the gm talk for other teams. They are also pointing out stuff brinker did so I guess its not completely them going in on ran. we shit on literally everyone Nash
Supernope
Sneed for a 3rd was terrible and will always be inexcusable. The writing was on the wall from the start - KC was his stated choice and he was willing to work with them - KC laughed in his face and announced biddings open - Knee issue won't show in a physicals, so Titans figure hunky dory! - everyone except Ran and a few TR members (who are possibly also Ran) thought this team would be bad and lack of young talent is a critical issue - at the end the only teams bidding were the Titans and the goddam Jags. Read the fucking room Ran Even jrob had to blink away his tears in disbelief at this trade I refuse to believe Brinker had any investment in this other than following explicit orders to seal the deal! TeamRamrod
I haven’t been in the board for a few days. Are people being normal about this here or is it like the local radio and fanbase outrage about some grand conspiracy coup by the villain, snake, backstabber Chad Brinker? Business leaders often disagree, it’s a positive that leads to better decisions and outcomes. Thanks @oldschoolfor sharing those quotes…. Everything we know about Brinker and his philosophies go totally against what the 2024 signing/spending spree turned out to be, that quote that Zach Lyons is trying to use to skewer Brinker is 6 weeks prior to a single move of the 2024 offseason. Would it be a shock if a guy who comes from the Packers draft/develop and supplement with FA philosophy wasn't fully onboard an offseason that ended up being the #1 spenders in FA. titanskick8851, and Justafan

Most are glad that Carthon is gone. Some wish the house was cleaned. A lot starting to think ownership is the problem. Jamalisms

This is exactly what my post right before this was about. Just crazy how hardcore the media are about this being some catastrophic move that made no sense or was at best some weird racially motivated coup. As for here, its the same as allways, assholes being assholes. But for the most part in lock step it was the right move.

Popular Post TeamRamrod
People got obsessed with this idea that you have to clean house and put everything together all at once and I think are using that to justify their hatred of this move. As if that’s some magical formula to building a Super Bowl dynasty. The same people who wanted them to fire ALL THREE of them on Monday are now grandstanding on some moral high ground when only one of them got canned lol it’s truly bizarre Edited January 9, 2025 by TeamRamrod Alzarius, oldschool, Callidus, and 2 others

Hiring both at once is the worst option then gm before coach and coach before gm is the best performing option.
