Hats off to oldschool for taking the L.    If I’m wrong about something I will as well

Vrabel inherited a good team that was bolstered by Derrick Henry, Kevin Byard, and later Ryan Tannehill, all playing in their primes, and then AJ Brown, Corey Davis, and Jonnu Smith - all behind a ver

well fuck. The L is mine. I'm man enough to admit it.

I’m not totally dismissing this because they were out on Carthon pretty quick.  Let’s assume they were still happy with him in the Spring .  Within a span of 6 mos, they say enough and wanted him out of there.  I think it’s generally the team building aspect but the work ethic issue can’t be discounted.

I'm not claiming his roster building was good, far from it.

Dude, I know officially AAS controls the team, but what if there’s actually a silent vote between her family for stuff like this?

and that’s why it’s so weird

Then that's even worse. Not that it's overly plausible.

Seems unlikely to me.

AAS was voted the controlling owner so I assume she basically is calling the shots. I'd assume the others could organize to vote for another controlling owner, and maybe there are certain things that would require a full vote but for most things AAS is in charge.

Any of our big wig hot shot execs can correct me though! ;)

https://www.tennesseetitans.com/team/front-office-roster/chad-brinker  Titans website.

In his first season with the team, Brinker was involved in a variety of projects, including crafting the foundation of an analytics department from scratch, involvement in the search for a new head coach resulting in the hiring of Brian Callahan, and building and executing the 2024 offseason strategy for player acquisitions in both free agency and the draft. The free agency period led to 14 new veteran players being added to the roster.

I guess the Titans' website is full of b.s.  Or some people love to lap up bs and make jokes about the truth.

Correct. She flipped ken IV and that's how she ousted her sister and Tommy boy. He could flip it back i believe which is why she keeps him engaged imo.

Hey, at least Brinker didn't say that after they fired Carthon. That makes him at least marginally better than Carthon!

See, I can look at the glass half full sometimes!

I'm starting to think it's just a case of a guy who can't do his job and starts slacking while others are busting their asses. I've seen it before. It can sour relationships over night in the business world.

Being able to load up on picks and still get Sweat... but Ran getting too many feels to slightly risk it because he met his family. Yeah, I'd have broken ties right then.
