And fuck ESPN and the NFLN you pricks can't go to a commercial before the #1 pick.

Let us old-school football guys take a moment appreciate to the fact that the Titans earned the #1 overall pick the old-fashioned way.   Not by tanking or by trading up, but by simply being

I'd hate Hunter. The Titans best position is likely CB and you don't take a WR that high. If the Titans traded down to 3 and Carter went 2 I'd rather trade down again and maybe go for someone like Mem

The situation with the Giants also being completely fucked at QB gives us a ton of leverage. We can use that against the Raiders in my opinion.

If they grade out Ward as the franchise then we aren't trading the pick, but it's still fun to think about because now there are a ton of options.

That's where I've been for months. I like Ward but Sanders scares me. Not sure I'd take either one #1 overall but if you hit.... it's a hard job for a reason.

This is a weak, weak draft at QB.  How much of a haul can they realistically get for #1?

I think it's still the smart move to trade down though.  This team has needs literally everywhere so - may as well get three picks for the #1 and go shopping - just not for a QB...

There will be no hiding in obscurity for the Titans this offseason, trade speculation will be a daily thing especially with Sanders' camp already laying the groundwork for forcing his spot, and the general perception will be the Titans are not one of those spots being considered a lowly franchise by the media etc.

Then if the Titans forgo the trade option and take Ward, it will be an extremely scrutinized pick from April 24th onwards.

It’s basically NYG, LVG and the Jets in terms of the top 8 that need qbs

Very difficult to trade out if one of the two guys grades as a franchise QB.  Those guys are priceless.  So the evaluation of those two guys preceeds everything else, including the talk of a trade out.

It’s all about getting a QB so they would really need to hate both of them to trade the pick

Yup. And they need to make the decision before Free Agency starts because if they don't love either one then it changes what they could do at QB in March.
