If they think Ward is the guy they're not going to pass on him because Callahan might get fired. I would agree with that. Borgonzi and Brinker are running the show. AvgJoe
Barring someone like LaFleur or Shanahan becoming available and we have a worse season than this year, Callahan needs to be given thru 2026. Baseball reference: The Braves did a total rebuild in 2016 and 2017. The only key established player they held onto was Freddie Freeman. Some might say Freddie was the key, but no, it was Ronald Acuña Jr coming up in May 2018 when the team took off and never looked back. He was the catalyst. Cam Ward can be that catalyst
Popular Post AvgJoe
The rebuild is going to be a lot shorter if they get the QB spot right. Proof? Joe Burrow in Cinci, Daniels in Washington, Stroud in Houston Hyperion, Cookie, IsntLifeFunny, and 3 others
Popular Post TeamRamrod
I think this fanbase just needs to accept that Callahan is a lot more respected around the league than they want to accept because fans have the memory of a goldfish. He would have been a HC last year if he didn’t take this job and would have been one of the first guys hired this year. Guys like John Fassel and Tony Oden didn’t want to come here because they think it’s a sinking ship. It was not a strong group that got hired and Vrabel is going to be a massive trainwreck even though that move is universally praised

Pretty clear you all didn't watch Jayden play Comparing college stats to college stats is the only comparison you can make. I watched Daniels during his career at lsu. He was nothing special until his last season. He was a great rookie. No.......he was a phenomenal rookie, but my point is he had his flaws as well, but the potential was there. He was able to put it all together and capitalize on that potential.

I understand there is different levels of competition, but it is the only raw stats I have to go on. I think Cam has as much potential as Jayden had coming out of college. He may not reach that potential as fast as Jayden did, but the potential is there, and it is enough to justify the #1 pick in my opinion.
OnsideKick
William & Mary OT Charles Grant is a fun watch. He’s got day 2 ability. He can really move!

He doesn’t have the bulk that Papa Callahan wants on the OL. Better fit for a zone blocking team.

Daniels was such a sure thing EVERYONE had Caleb over him. Stroud people wondered about him having a loaded supporting cast, the bad track record of Ohio State QB in the NFL, good but not amazing physical traits, etc. I'm lukewarm on Ward, but Daniels and Stroud have nothing to do with what I think about him. Starkiller
Every top QB prospect has questions coming out of college. You are rolling the dice no matter who you pick. Ward is no different in that respect. Last year’s “elite” class had no sure things. BeedoeLaw
OnsideKick
UCF RB RJ Harvey may be as quick as RB in the class, but what makes him special to me is his physicality. The dude knows how to finish a run.
