I'm sure he would do some bullshit. He doesn't need the money. What I'm saying is that the NFL doesn't need him either. It's not like NFL prospects have some union that they can use to collectively forego the NFL draft and even if they did, I doubt it would really go to the mats for these rare examples of entitlement. The league won't but I say, call their bluff and remind them that being drafted to any NFL team is a privilege, not a right. The draft is built on the weakest team, who is usually weak because they lack a QB, being able to get one. Without this, parity is even harder to achieve. I hate the idea on principle alone.

Even though the Titans are awful, I have a hard time seeing us lose even once to them. I would absolutely take a split if it was offered now. Levis will really have to Levis those games for us.

 

Another fear I don't see being mentioned. That final game with Houston. If the Texans have nothing to play for then surely they're going to rest everyone and there's a pretty good chance the Titans will win that one too.

Don't underestimate Nepo's ability to fuck up as well.

If Trevor Lawrence is done for the season there is a decent chance they end up with the #1 pick, if Lawrence returns after their bye they have enough winnable games on their remaining schedule that they should avoid getting the #1 pick for the 3rd time in 5 years.

I feel like the Titans are better than these teams, that we’ve  played some very tough games against good teams. But at the same time we just CANNOT score points. I mean, I’ve actually felt better about Levis the last 2 weeks but we still scored a combined 30 effin points. We just cannot score. We are absolutely in the running for the 1st pick.

The NFL has already announced that there will be NO supplemental draft in 2025.
