I tripped on the Latham pick because he has to be an LT to deserve the slot. Well, that's still where we are, but every time I've heard the kid talk you can tell he's extremely motivated. He's the anti-Wilson/Jrob pick.

He's still boom or bust as an LT, but he has the tenacity you want to see to go with the work ethic. Callahan being here is a huge plus for his development. If he can't do it with Bill teaching him then it wouldn't ever happen.

As for Sweat, I'd take him off of 1st down sometimes just to keep him on 3rd downs. He's a bigger version of Jurrell Casey.

Yeah.  I feel much better about the pick now. Right there with you about he has to be a LT.

The biggest bright spot last night was Sweat's play.    6 tackles, 2 more loss and constantly disrupting the Miami blocking schemes. He did this without Simmons as well. He played 78% of the

Titans HAD to upgrade their Dline. Newton, Fiske, and Jenkins were all guys who played the same role as Simmons. I like those guys but I've told people all offseason that the Titans weren't going to d

As long as they can keep Sweat away from Davenport he's got a chance!

Whatever he becomes, I don't believe he'll bust. Even at this early juncture he's leaning more toward potentially having a bust than being one.

And to borrow from Sweat, just to cut you off, I'm not saying he's done anything to earn that. I'm just saying on a scale of potential he is at least walking in that direction as opposed to walking in the other direction. He certainly seems like he has the natural tools and coaching to hopefully get himself there.

But he's just started the walk though so who knows where he'll wind up or even if he'll start moonwalking.

Latham and Sweat are both huge physical freaks from big schools. I think both will be really good picks with the potential to be great picks.

Even Gray will likely start and play 3 downs, this could be more about the Titans roster than him being worthy

I also think Brownlee is a good pick who will contribute in sub packages.

You never know how these guys will pan out but looking overall at what they did I think it's really good

If brownlee is as advertised our dime package could be very impressive. Or a single safety 4 nickel package.

Yes, Brownlee and McCreary in the slot with the two new guys outside is a very strong dime CB group. Maybe best in the league

Williams might also play in sub packages vs TEs.

I think once you get past Brownlee it's questionable about making the roster or contributing. They might be starters and great players but the odds go way down after the top 4 picks

Williams is an interesting prospect but I’m not sure exactly where he fits in.

Being a college safety I figured he would be more of a coverage LB in the NFL. But his profile makes him seem like he might be more of a downhill, physical LB like a Murray. Time will tell.

Brownlee seems like a good fit physically for what the Titans are doing but we will see if he has the speed and coverage ability to be good.

Being a dime CB, his physicality would be minimized off the line of scrimmage. But playing outside where he can more consistently jam the WR his speed would be an issue.

My issue with Williams is that they project him to be a LB... but his hard hitting highlights didnt seem so hard hitting.

So not sure how he handles shedding linemen but as an off ball  coverage guy I could see a fit
