Guest
#7 cannot be a pure need pick. If you feel like Nabers or Odunze is a transformative player you take them. If Alt is there and you feel like he is a transformative player, you take him. Maybe over the other two. If you don't believe in Latham as that transformative it's fine to take the transformative guy. With a top ten pick, you get the player right period. I understand tackle is our biggest need, but we might not even be in position to get Alt.
Bongo59
At 7 is has to be a LT or trade back.
Face
I think the Becton stuff with us is true. Callahan said the offensive scheme will pretty much be the same as what they’re doing in Cincy. I keep reading on here about the outside zone, and yeah his Dad runs it well & I’m sure it will a pretty big part of the running game but this scheme is going to be nothing like the Shanahan system. The passing game is not going to be based off the outside zone via playaction. The bulk of Callahan’s experience was in Mannings offense in Denver & he was in Detroit with Jim Caldwell who ran the same offense. This is basically what Cincy does….very few “heavy” sets. They spread it out with 3 WR’s & even empty a lot. Tons of shotgun. It’s a totally pass-centric offense. A lot of “levels”, which is ins to different depths down the field, just a good mix of short, intermediate, and deep passing. That why the Bengals brought in a bunch of huge, strong pass blockers. They don’t ask them to get down the field or be mobile, they want them to pass block & occasional block gap or inside zone. Jonah Williams was already there, isn’t very good, and I don’t think we’ll have the slightest interest. Becton is massive like Orlando Brown Jr & should be cheap. He at least played at a very high level as a rookie & while he had a bad year many here feel part of that was on the bad cast & Zach Wilson. Id really expect us to look hard at guys like Becton, Robert Hunt, and Michael Onwenu. Huge, strong pass blockers. rns90, IsntLifeFunny, and Kirkster
Face
Also, I’ve become even more convinced that the media no longer realizes we exist as an NFL franchise. We have the 2nd most cap space & Ive literally not read a single FA except for Becton attached to us. I’ve read about a dozen FA’s that are “perfect fits” for the Chargers, however, who are $70 million above the cap. It’s kindve become ridiculous. Tyron Smith is also not a “perfect fit” for the Chiefs, who have zero cap space & Sneed & Chris Jones to deal with. We have $80 million & the worst LT situation in history. At least put in SOME effort. The media is honestly useless…… IsntLifeFunny

National image of Henry is that he's some giant running over people, but he's a finesse runner now. Last season reminded me of Eddie's Last couple years when he was so slow to the hole and would get tripped up by the slightest hand. At first, I thought we just needed to block a half second longer and that he was unluckily being tripped. But as the season went on, it was obvious he was just slow and couldn't stay upright through contact. Then Chris Brown came in and looked like a future probowler behind the same OL. Look, I get being critical of rumors, but this is pretty solid info. Henry was recorded discussing his feelings that he was almost gone, mentioning details about a near trade (while clearly holding back some details from the audience). I mean sure, he could be lying, but that's not a rational take. Henry has no reason to lie there and the team doesn't benefit from lying to Henry by telling him they were gonna trade him, only to kill the deal last minute ("Hey, we don't value you and are gonna move on. Oops, j/k, we still love you!). The details are probably not quite right, and it may not have been the Ravens interested, but it's highly probable the Titans were looking to trade Henry mid-season and that someone was interested. Notice how I said there was no proof he was almost traded to the Ravens then certain posters posted that interview of evidence where he didn't even name a team lol... can't make this up. I never said he wasn't on the block or that the team didn't take offers. cenj, and IsntLifeFunny 1

OilerTitanHybrid
I posted the video of Henry because I remembered that March 14th date was coming up, so no way Henry is gonna say anything while he is still a Titan. We'll just have to wait and see if he ever names who the team was, that he thought he might be traded to.
