Its a shanny thing... goes back to running the same personnel groupings out of the same formations and being able to run or pass out of the look. If you don't know thats a staple of offenses for decades then you aren't paying attention. but I googled it!

Fair enough.  It still seems to be an attempt to sound smart and also to be used as a way to excuse Tannehill’s performance by blaming it on Vrabel.

New era begins.   Please declare yourself for or against in the comments, so we can figure out the new teams.

I would have joined the mob if he said anything other than this.   RIP Fanboys.  I know it’s been miserable being wrong at every turn the past 3+ years.  But @OILERMAN @BudsOilers and @oldsc

That "conflicted downs" nonsense has seemingly overtaken the board with half of Bud's followers using it on a regular basis.  I've followed the NFL since I was like 10 years old and I've never heard the term.  Not only that I googled it and nothing came up.  It seems to be unique here, only used by the anti-Vrabel, pro-Tannehill crowd (which is ridiculous that we even have to group people, but that's a whole other topic).  It's an attempt to sound smart.

So stupidity is your excuse?

Passing on conflicted downs is far more effective than in obvious passing situations.....for a variety of reasons that you clearly aren't smart enough to grasp.

If you think the Titans running it a ton on 1st down with one of the lowest success rates while not passing it despite having one of higher success rates is smart, well here we are.....They literally consistently expose the offense to obvious passing situations when they know they have among the worst pass blocking units in the NFL.

They literally lost playoff games doing it and are 10-15 the last 2 years doing it on most occassions.

No worries because we saw it in the 2nd half last week......and are likely to see it some more as long as Vrabel is here.

In all seriousness, what an unceremonious exit for one of the best to ever put on a Titans uniform. I really hate it. But the show must go on

It's probably the best you can hope for besides the team waiting until the end of a season - i.e. mid game is a bit more of a blight.

I don't buy the Titans are giving up on the season by going to levis. I think he flashed enough while Tannehill regressed enough for them to realize going with the rookie isn't a net loss.

That’s it.  He flashed more than Tannehill and the gap was smaller than they thought.

I don’t think the defense is any good for them to make a playoff push but that is another topic.

Why because I'm tired you spamming the board with the same shit. We fucking all already know the offense is predictable.

Can you contribute anything of substance other than the words "conflicted" or "retard".

I'll stop using the terms when it's warranted.  If you don't like it, TOO FUCKING BAD.

We literally see this almost every game for YEARS and scine has the gall to say this is “made up”.  Forget the concept for a sec, the math and actual numbers (titans suck at running on 1st and are /were one of the most successful at passing on 1st) say that the Titans should run less and pass more.

This is one of the dumber things I’ve seen argued on here.

@BudsOilers you wanna rehash all your posts talking about how improved the offensive line was gonna be this year?

Fucking retard.

Sure.  Did anyone on the planet expect Dillard to be worse than Daley or for Vrabel to turn around and replace him with NPF who's even worse?  The LT spot is single handedly killing the pass pro aside from the snaps NPF took at RT......

But nobody can google an old gamebook and claim he remembers what happened 30 years ago!
