I agree. The Titans (AAS) are trying to sell PSLs for the new stadium. Dumping two fan favs like Henry and Byard would outrage the fan base/PSL owners without a doubt. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if she vetoed that trade. Like it or not he's the face of the franchise and a huge draw. Personally, I think from a competitive standpoint, we could dump henry and never miss a lick.
BudsOilers
LOL - anyone believing some rando on twitter about this is pretty hilarious. The Henry trade options all were about getting a good pick in return. Nobody was offering that hence it simply isn't worth moving him and alienating the fan base,
Lars
Ignore all the bullshit. It makes zero sense to trade him. It would be retarded. Getting nothing in return and getting a shot in the arm for this season last Sunday.

The ratbirds fucked us over and screwed us out of one of our best seasons by injuring our top guy and pulling off clock abuse shenanigans. The year we were supposed to go, they beat us. They have a whiny coach who blew up over nothing. They've been a worse foil than any rival. AND we had to see Derrick Mason as a Raven. AND we had to see Steve as a Raven, after we fucked him over. Henry in a Raven jersey would suck too much. Henry was the Raven slayer. His lore is that he took Lamar's MVP season and the season that was supposed to be theirs and he shit on it. He has no business being a Raven. If this is true, good for you AAS. I seriously question any Titans fan who doesn’t hate them more than any other team. The history of bad blood there is unreal. BudsOilers
Bad blood with the old AFC Central teams is all there as well as Indy. That said, when McNair went to Baltimore I was rooting for them when they didn't play the Titans. rns90

I didn’t care at that point only because it was obvious that McNair wasn’t the same guy. And neither was Rolle. Mason was the only guy with a lot of juice left. BudsOilers
I initially loved McNair because he owned the Steelers. First Oilers/Titans QB to ever do that. rns90, and XAEA12

The situation in 2024 is reversed from this year. They have plenty of resources, picks and cap space, to do whatever they want. The questions are what is RC's real free agency philosophy and how effective will he be with 6 day 3 picks? BudsOilers
BudsOilers
I do think the problem will be that FA options generally suck - decent players get great player money - and ideally you want to use cap space to retain your own homegrown guys. Now there's 10 games left to perhaps change the narrative for guys like Fulton, Tart, SMB, Al-Shairr.

Popular Post IrishTitansFan
Confirmed by the Athletic. The Titans and Ravens agreed on a trade.
