But there is no doubt we are talent depleted, in most areas. And he is giving extensions to people that are getting on in years, like Henry. RBs take a pounding, and they have to cut. He is 28 and coming off an injury. I think that was not the best move. As far as Brown, I actually believe that was one of the few things he got right. He just got unlucky that Burks and Phillips got hurt. Then Burks gets a head shot and can't play again. Just a mess. It's not really that confusing IMO. J-Rob had a vision of what a winning Titans team would look like. He arguably achieved that vision in 2019 and 2020 then he proceeded to fuck it up in the following two years by letting talented player walk and failing to replace them. I do agree with you that's a stroke of bad luck that he finally looks to have filled a huge hole (AJ) with a guy that looks the part of a solid replacement and injuries take that away from him. It's a tough world. TNTitans, and DCTitan

A good OL would've covered that up IMO. Hell, Julio could still be on the roster if the OL holds up long enough for Tannehill to actually be able to throw those deep shots Julio was getting open for. Who knows if Julio being here and in our corner makes the AJ situation go a different way. We'll never know now. rns90

Alcibiades
Yeah, the OL is the problem. Was AJB the final straw for AAS? Probably, yes. But we spent two HIGH picks on OT in the past 3 seasons, and we have nothing to show for those picks. That's a disaster. We let Stafford walk (Ok, cap...I get it) and he's starting for a good team, and we don't have a decent guard. We let Conklin walk, and we don't replace him. We rely on Lewan, who recently showed he can't stay on the field and guess what? He's gone again. The OL is crap, and it's JRob's fault. So yeah, you could also talk about how many of his picks got a second contract. You could certainly note that Eagles fans were thanking our owner for giving them AJ. All bad. But at some point, Vrabel went to Amy and said "Look, I literally can't win games with these players at these positions. I'm working miracles here, but miracles run out." And she did what she did. Can't leave out the picks we gave up to move up and get Conklin. Remember we had the #1 pick overall. He was a decent pick, for sure, but the compensation to have a guy for a few healthy season was absurd. japan, and titanruss 1

IsntLifeFunny
Sk fleeced me on the deal last year but I wanted to make sure Jamal knew he was terrible and that's why he quit. I dismantled his team lol. Jamalisms

(Includes Isaiah Wilson, Conklin, Radunze, and all the money blown on bad FA) 2. AJB 3. Blowing draft capital on Julio and wasting money. 4. Wasted draft capital on Davis. 5. Blowing money on Beasley and Clowney. 6. Goddamn kickers Edit: Add Dez Fitzpatrick. He spent 4th, 5th, 7th to move up for him That's it. That's the story. I'd probably put those failures in that exact order of importance. #1 is staggering if you look at all of it, and had he not been such a failure there, 2-5 don't matter. #1/#3 involve a lot of money and draft picks. Those players would be in years 2-6 right now. Instead of those guys, we have scrubs off the UDFA/Waiver wire. You want to know the funny part about the OL stuff? He can't find RT and G's. They should be one of the easier spots to find but he batches that up multiple. Honestly, should have just kept Saffold instead of blowing cash /picks on Jones, Radunz etc. titanruss, and Mythos27

Just a guess, but Julio was smart enough to take us for a ride, and Brown wanted him here. One giant conspiracy......right? I don't think it's far fetched at all to think he may have told Brown that he was going to waste away in this offense. titanruss, and TNTitans 1

SuperFreak90
Letting Conklin, Smith, and AJB go was enough to get fired. Surprised it took this long AvgJoe
