Vrabel gaining more personnel control is not a good thing - regardless of who the new GM is - I promise you that.

Vrabel's comment "who is he going to throw it to?" about the receivers/Malik is a little more cryptic now.    I loved Jrob, but I love AAS more. She ain't fucking around. Ya love to see it.

Their offense was elite in 2020 and they easily could have run it back with Davis and Smith.  So that was not the right move.

And the defense was garbage, so they moved more resources to defense - which was absolutely the right strategy overall. Tactically though, mistakes were made clearly.

He was absolutely right to let Davis walk, the problem was the Jones trade and not replacing Davis adequately by other means.

I disagree, and I disagreed at the time. But I was woo'd by the Jones trade.

20/20 is always hindsight, but I would have been fine giving Davis more to come back. He and AJB would have been a much better duo.

I think the issue is they didn't try to get him back at all. Seems like he would have taken less than he got with the Jets to stay, which may have been worth it depending on the details.

Right.  But they could've brought back both guys and not gone after Jones.

And I think many of us applauded the move.  But we're not the ones making the decision, Robinson is.  In hindsight he traded for an oft injured receiver on his last legs when he could've just kept two of the guys who helped make the offense elite.  And also kept the second rounder.

I've watch a few of these snippets and Vrabel is getting sprayed with questions.  I'm probably reading too much into this but he looks like his normal agitated self.  I agree that she should be available to the media with him or should have scheduled something in advance of his presser, so he doesn't have to field this alone.

I really hope he is on board with all of this but can tell based on what I just watched.
