As a PSL and season ticket holder since 1997, I can say the value is not really there now that I am in my 50s vs. being in my 20s when this started. I am guessing my $750 investment per seat for a front row end zone seat. Using a historical inflation calculator it says it should be $1243. My guess is it will be in the neighborhood of 4X higher than it was in 1997. Since I now live 8+ hours from the stadium, I am not sure I have interest in paying anything for the in stadium experience. I’m a PSL holder. My ticket rep says something will be done for the current PSL holders but he doesn’t know what. FRT, and pamo9

The original lease was for 30 years, I would imagine there is something in the PSL contract about what happens after that time period. They won't be far from fulfilling the 30 year agreement, so other than be given some front of the line considerations, wouldn't expect much of a financial compensation for not getting the full 30 years out of the original contract; I'm sure there's some contingency clauses in it. BudsOilers
Hopefully they generate a few hundred million from PSL sales. The Raiders generated 549 M from new PSL sales for their stadium but they also were new to the market. But make no mistake, exisiting fans with PSL's will have to pay the premium to keep them. Starkiller
https://www.tennessean.com/story/news/politics/2022/04/27/tennessee-hotel-motel-tax-increase-new-tennessee-titans-stadium/9544852002/ Tennessee lawmakers have completed their portion of the funding for a new NFL stadium in Nashville. The House and Senate passed legislation to allow the Metro Council to raise its hotel-motel tax by 1%, potentially generating at least $10 million per year in tax revenue for a new enclosed stadium for the Tennessee Titans. Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp. CEO Butch Spyridon said the tax increase could generate closer to $20 million per year if the city's tourism numbers continue at a previous pace. No1TitansFan
The city had put all of its efforts into attracting either a NHL or NBA team to a downtown arena that could also serve as a bigger music venue than what was available at the time; that's where they had put their resources into. The Titans/Oilers literally fell into their laps while the arena was already under construction; so it's understandable that the stadium had to built on a cost concious basis, but still with a design that had a lot of suite and club seating that actually raised the teams revenue level from one of the lowest in the league to middle of the pack at a time when Nashville was still pretty much a small market. titanruss

Edit: also can I crash at your place so I don't need to pay for a hotel? Would be great. Edit 2: ok this joke sucks but it is a very good question on your part. prometheus
I'm with you, FRT. I, too, was at the first games in Memphis, Vandy, and Adelphia. And all but one game all three seasons. Was an exciting time although not always pleasant pro
