As one of the first PSL club seat members, my wife and I were treated to a tour of the stadium during the later construction.  Our tour guide was the overall supervisor of the build.  He had come to Nashville after completing the Tampa stadium.

The man was angry and embarrassed when talking about how cheaply built our stadium was becoming when compared to the quality of the construction at Tampa.  The blueprint designs and the quality of materials were terrible according to him.   He clearly wanted no credit for what he was frankly being forced to do here in Nashville.  And, it was a disturbing interaction for yours truly.

That makes so much sense, when wondering why Tampa seems to still be viable, actually saw the TN Oilers win there on a Sunday night the first year it opened, I was one of like 10 people there in Oiler gear. Steve put it away with a long scramble for a TD. Those people knew how to tailgate. I went back to Nissan after giving up my sesaons tickets in 17 and only occasionally attending at the Club level where they've been able to hide a lot of the deterioration. I was apalled how bad the upper deck level had become.

Yes, this is always part of the financing package for a new stadium. And it’s nice that Nashville has grown so much as a destination city and has expanded the hotel footprint in town.

I wonder if it also taxes AirBnb type vacation rentals…

It should. Only way it shouldn’t is if you rent an Air BnB for 30+ days consecutively because that’s viewed as more of a long term rental rather than just a weekend get away.

It doesn't for TN.  Only the sales tax but not the lodging tax.

Isn't that mainly from the city shirking from their fiscal responsibility to maintain the venue?  Metro has gotten the Mariota kid gloves treatment for how incompetent they have been in this area.

The current stadium.

Rewording all of that. If we do get a new stadium and they do not play somewhere else where will they park. It is an option and just curious.
