You repeat the same point over and over and over...., then you demean loyal Nashville fans, some of us who have spent thousands of dollars supporting the team by repeatedly stating how much you'd enjoy any anguish we might experience over the team leaving; that's the immature trolling part.

Yeah, so much support that most home games look like there are more opposing fans than home fans.  Keep believing that the few loyal fans outweigh all the fair-weather ones willing to sell their tickets for a hot dog and Terry Bradshaw autograph.

The team should go back to TX, where it belongs.  You fucking anti-Oilers idiots can go fuck yourself and cheer for the Falcons or Panthers.

It's not immature trolling.  It really would be funny.  Especially if the team is really good when it leaves.  Think Cleveland Browns fans watching the Ravens win the SB 5 years later ??

I didn't know this and this makes this saga even funnier.  Of course, I'm one of those I don't care where they play fans.

In one of the Axios articles, it said the city owes the Titans 25 M for making stadium repairs that the city is supposed to pay for.

It also said they were planning to use a sales tax on the new development of that whole area to pay for stadium upgrades but that was when it was 600 M.  Now you're talking 1.5 B assuming the state's 500 M offer comes together.

From the article:

"For example, the stadium's structural frame was built with concrete and needs to be largely replaced with steel. The mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems need to be completely replaced. The window system throughout the building is so antiquated that it is not even manufactured anymore."

Yikes.

The city's architect built Jed Clampett's place!

So myself and others on this board are responsible for the fair weather fans? You're typical of the Columbia Blue crowd somehow wishing the clock will get turned back and the Oilers, who played in front of more than their share of empty seats by the way, will somehow come back.

A multigenerational fight has broken out!

How are they going to pay for the stadium? Bonds, tourist taxes, stadium fees, etc.

You know, just like cities almost always do.

From what I’ve heard it’s a big problem for the city. They can’t in the fastest growing metropolitan city in the US figure out a way to make it work. They have zero leverage whatsoever to come to any type of deal. Ah well.
