Evans is who I am most excited about seeing play. I’d expect it to be way better than Lewis’s out of the gate.

Imagine a RB, with CJ type speed, that can catch, in this offense with Tanney, Henry, Brown, Jonnu and Humphries. THAT is putting stress on a defense. All these people bitching about that pick are going have a reckoning.

I love Jonnu Smith, pretty obvious he had some freaky skill set early on.    Robinson has done a great job building the offense with physical freaks like Henry, AJ Brown and Jonnu, who all c

The more I read and hear about Evans the more I like the pick. I was on board with a RB early and Robinson seemed to nail a guy who is the perfect fit in terms of running outside zone, being ready to

He may not put up gaudy stats, but the stats he does put up could yeild gaudy success. Which is kinda the point.

Wouldn't say cj speed but this is right.

Less than 1/4 of a second difference in their 40 yard dash times. CJ 4.24  D. Evans 4.41. and I DID say CJ "type" speed. ?

Duuuuuude... I can watch highlights of CJ and tell there's a gear there that no one else has had since, save for maybe John Ross or Tyreek Hill. And I still think CJ, in his prime at top speed, could take down either one of those guys.

Btw, could you imagine the level of havoc the current Chiefs offense would wreak if Mahomes had CJ in his prime to hand off to? With Hill, Kelce, and Hardman running routes to clear out the 2nd level of the defense? Holy sheeit.

He is fastand I expect him to be good but if we are going off 40 times he is closer to henry than cj. Cj and henry both have more top end speed easy. But evans may have a quicker burst.

His videos look like they support that. If he gets to the second level, forget about it.

You realize when discussing 40 times 4.4 is fairly common and 4.24 is not? There is a big difference.

Thought it was odd in the highlight package that his running back play against the Texans wasn't in there.

My original post said Evans possessed "CJ type speed". Never did I say Evans was as fast as CJ or that there was no difference in 4.2 and 4.4. I did point out that the difference was only a quarter of a second. I do realize the 2 tenths can make a difference.

You just contradicted yourself. A quarter second is a lot.
