Popular Post scine09
Look, I understand that there's going to be the normal overreaction threads to today's debacle. But my goodness how many just bad decisions is he going to make? In week 2 I thought he did a terrible job with the clock late, opting to punt on 4th and 1. Last week he should have kicked and didn't to go up 3 scores. And today was as bad as any of them. Mike, what are you doing trying a 53 yard FG from a kicker who wouldn't even be on an NFL roster if your regular kicker wasn't hurt and who had already missed 3, 2 of which were chip shots? I'd argue that it was a bad call if Succop was healthy but come on, you're down by 7 points, 4 yards away in already tough FG territory, go for the first down. Absolutely senseless and can't be defended. And you can't be using timeouts early in the 3rd quarter. This is the 2nd straight week they've used a TO in the 3rd quarter. And way, way too many penalties. Last year this wasn't an issue. But today with so many untimely penalties. Just very disappointed in his performance thus far this year. I was very high on him, still hold out hope but this has not been a good performance thus far in 2019. Justafan
He made some great decisions last year too. That’s probably the most frustrating part about today. Hooty_McBoob

I know some will disagree & think that I'm saying this because we loss. But I felt like that when it happened. But I felt it was kind of dumb to get rid of a coach who seem to be getting momentum with this team. We gave him the chance to return with new offensive assistants. He refused. Titans279
Twitter is already starting to call of him to be fired. Vrabel and JRob are a package deal at this point so these people are essentially calling for a complete reboot Number9
Popular Post scine09
This is not about Mike Mularkey. He needed to go and was terrible with clock management himself. Vrabel should be better than this. OILERMAN, Thrill, NashvilleNinja, and 3 others 5

Jrob may need to take his second swing at hiring one soon. bosss50, and StephenIsLegend

rns90
If they totally tank from this point on, I could see Vrabel getting fired. Edited October 6, 2019 by rns90

Hooty_McBoob
He’s not getting fired this year, but yeah, very disappointed. He’s making wtf decisions and his team is making critical errors when there’s little room for errors. The “working on fundamentals” isn’t translating to game day. Bluth
The decisions Vrabel has made lately, especially today were god awful. However, you don't fire him just yet. I hope he learns from this and makes better choices in the future.
StephenIsLegend
I’m usually a pretty avid supporter of Vrabel, but today he was dog shit. Thrill
THE_TITAN
He’s a dumb jock. Guy has no situational awareness. Takes risks when he shouldn’t and doesn’t take risks when he should. The guy was nowhere near close to being qualified to be an NFL HC. Only two years as a NFL coach and one as a middling DC. We should’ve kept Mularkey. Remember the guy that took us to the playoffs where we won a game at Arrowhead! TNTitans, bosss50, Hyperion, and 1 other 2
