The larger sample poll had Biden winning 50-44 and the smaller had him winning 49-47. I wonder why they released the one that had a closer margin? It's ridiculous - he's actually done very well and gotten rave reviews for his recent tv appearances from actual serious analysts (distinguished from progressive hacks). I've watched all of them as well as his online streams and he's been very strong and most importantly empathetic which is a huge reprieve for people right now. I've read some analysts saying they were moved to tears in these troubled time by Biden's recent words on empathy, honesty, and care. The same pundits and online people have been repeating this ad nauseum for a year now though re: Biden not looking good, yet he completely defeated a field of almost 30 people by larger delegate margins than either Obama or Clinton in their primary victories. But hey go ahead and keep repeating it, and then when Biden is president you all can keep telling us how terrible Biden is and how he was such an awful candidate as he's saving the country and having defeated Trump as promised. A lot of the coastal liberal types need to do some introspection and realize that what they value in political candidates is not the same as what most Americans value in candidates. People don't care about the gaffes or lack of eloquence at times - what they care about is that they perceive Biden as a good/genuine/caring person, someone who has real soul born from suffering and grief, and who has the requisite federal experience and gravitas to navigate one of the most consequential periods in American history. Not some bullshit policy agenda or someone who sounds like Shakespeare reincarnated or whatever.
