I think Singleton would be great if we hire a coach who brings in a zone running scheme. He'd kill in Art Smith's offense
-
Not unless they won the whole thing. The decision had already been made. The reporting couldn't be more clear. Unlike stupid ass fans, teams dont make long term decisions based on 1 or 2 games.
-
They also voted for a documented liar (30K+ in his first term) who has consistently proven that he has no loyalty to anyone other than himself. He's proven he will screw anyone to make a $. So why would anyone trust his word on what he will do? But it's even worse than that. The farmers saw him destroy the soybean market in his first term, need to bail them out, then promise to do his tariffs again in 2024 and still voted for him. As Mitch McConnell likes to say....there is no value in the second kick of the mule.
-
Lol what? If Darnold doesn't shit the bed and they advance further into the playoffs then it changes the entire scenario.

look it up dumbass. It was reported months before the end of the season the Vikings would not resign or tag Darnold no matter how good of a season he had. If you think the final two games had anything to do with the decision, you are the idiot.

Titans signed Xavier Restrepo (WR, Miami) as a UDFA

The NFL equivalent appears to be how much salary are we willing to pick up for Ridley, if it’s a lot maybe he brings a 3rd ( more likely a 4th and a 2027 7 th) if it’s not a lot maybe, a 5th or 6th ..
-
"B-b-b-but......That's not what I voted for!" The hell it isn't. This is EXACTLY what you voted for. You voted for ALL of this....every bit of it. When you vote for a volatile and emotionally unstable loose cannon, you don't get to pick and choose just those parts of his crazy you happen to like . You get ALL of it.

The former President is stone cold stupid. Just listen to him.

Reagan's full tariff speech from 1987. The entire speech is only five minutes and is easily digestible, touching on both the positive and negative aspects while explaining the actual realities of tariffs. This is what it sounds like when a President understands and acknowledges both sides of an issue.
-
"Early on" as in when? A few games after they spent a 1st round pick on a QB, or when they were 14-2? It was clearly their plan to move on to McCarthy. Darnold had to be elite to make them even think of doing otherwise, which he was. And fair or not, the bar was still high during those last two games and he just didn't even come close. You're an idiot if you think there was no scenario in which they extended Darnold.

This smells like a retreat to a weaker opponent. How many carriers are near Taiwan?
-
Part of reason trade market is slow currently is because teams open to dealing pass rushers are asking for a good return. Interested teams are waiting it out, hoping to give up less. Feels like a later market as it stands.
-
Unpopular presidents need a war to temporarily rally the country behind them.
-
Lol. No they weren't. It was reported early on last year they were letting him walk because of investment in McCarthy. The final two games where he was under constant pressure didnt tip shit. Just another case of you using stats to fit a narrative.

Minnesota scored 9 points in each of their final two games with Darnold, in which he had a QBR of 14 and 12. They were definitely leaning towards resigning him prior to that. But he was so bad in the biggest moment of the season that they saw a limited ceiling with him. I think we'll need to see how he does in the postseason before concluding that it was a huge mistake.
-
Reese will get 1st pick consideration from the Titans, especially if there is a small trade down or they should win a few more games and not draft at the very top.

The no war president

There are going to be millions of people who can't afford food starting in Nov. That's when it's going to get interesting. At the same time a lot of federal employees aren't getting paid. The pain hasn't been felt yet. Trump was able to move around some funds last week to pay the military but that option is now gone. When people can't eat they are going to put their religion and cult love for Trump behind them. Even a dumbass shit for brains Trumper
-
I actually agree with this Just like Ward looks like a bust right now. I'm not saying he is
-
The guy I was 100% wrong about and shocked about is Daniel Jones. He's completing 70% of his passes, 8.4 yards per pass and has a 106 passer rating. I was laughing at the Colts for signing him. The Colts average 33 points per game and convert 46% of their 3rd downs. Just another example of how important it is to put your QB in a pressure free situation. Before you even begin to evaluate these young QBs you have to have them in a pressure free environment
-
yeah but if we had signed darnold no one would have ever known the vikes fucked up
